Tour of the Alps - Schwaz, 15.-19. April 2024
In summer 2024, the “Tour of the Alps” will take place for the seventh time. The riders have to tackle 13,250 meters of climbing in five days of racing, with a total distance of 709 kilometers. The race is part of the “UCI ProSeries”.
Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival - Innsbruck, 02.-04. May 2024
In May, the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival will be held for the ninth time. This popular running event starts in the heart of Innsbruck and offers an alpine-urban adventure for over 4,000 participants from more than 60 countries. The distances vary between seven and 110 kilometers, with elevation differences of up to 5,600 meters possible. This major season opener excites both beginners and professionals, allowing participants to run away from busy streets and amidst impressive mountain panoramas.
Crankworx - Innsbruck, 12.-16. June 2024
For the eighth year in a row, all eyes in the mountain bike world will turn to Tirol in June, as Crankworx, the world’s biggest gravity-fuelled mountain bike festival, descends on Innsbruck. This year again, Innsbruck is the only European stop of the Crankworx World Tour.
IFSC Climbing Worldcup - Innsbruck, 24.-30. June 2024
At the Innsbruck Climbing Center, the IFSC Climbing World Cup enters a new round in 2024. Four international competitions are scheduled, with over 500 athletes from 40 different nations participating. At the end of June 2024, the IFSC Climbing World Cup in Innsbruck will once again host competitions in the disciplines of lead, boulder, speed, and paraclimbing. The competitions will take place at the outdoor facility of the Innsbruck Climbing Center.

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour - Innsbruck and Wörgl, 27.-28. April 2024
The renowned Banff Mountain Film Festival is going on tour for the 47th time in 2024. In April, it will stop in Innsbruck and Wörgl, showcasing a selection of the best outdoor adventure films. For outdoor enthusiasts, this event is an absolute highlight.
Innsbruck International - Innsbruck, 03.-26. May 2024
Innsbruck International, the art biennial transforms Innsbruck into a center of contemporary art for approximately three weeks. In galleries, event halls, and public spaces, visitors can experience visual arts, music, dance, performance, and much more. A highlight is the collaboration between Innsbruck International and the Tyrolean State Theater: the performance "Sonne" by Doris Uhlich, together with the children's choir of the Tyrolean State Theater, will be presented twice.
Stummer Schrei - Theaterfestival - Zillertal, 15. June - 11. August 2024
The cultural festival "Stummer Schrei" in Stumm in the Zillertal Valley offers a unique mix of theater performances, concerts, readings, and film screenings, and sets new priorities every year. Especially in 2024, as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, this diversity is celebrated. The festival founder, Roland Silbernagl, is also back on board, namely in the feature film "Silberreich – das Netz der Fugger," which will be presented on July 5, 2024.
Tiroler Festspiele Erl - Erl, 05.-27. July 2024
On July 5, 2024, the orchestra and choir of the Tirol Festival Erl open the summer season with a performance of Richard Wagner's "The Rheingold". Wagner is also represented in the opera program with the other three operas from the "Ring Cycle": "Siegfried", "The Valkyrie", and "Twilight of the Gods". In addition to these operas, there is a variety of chamber concerts as well as other concert and scenic events.
The Tirol Festival Erl has been taking place since 1998.
